Customs for Designer Con 2012
I have been busy working away in the studio and am happy to get out and make the trip to Pasadena, CA for Designer Con 2012. The event is this Saturday and I will have new customs, prints and other goodies on hand at my booth #510. I will be sharing the booth with Jason Limon and N.C. Winters and we have collaborated on a painting for the show. The original painting and limited edition prints will be exclusivly available at our booth and any remainding priints will be online after the show.. If you are planing on going to Dcon, stop by my booth and say Hello.

New customs for New York Comic Con @ My Plastic Heart
NYCC opens tomorrow and I can hardly wait. These three customs will be available at My Plastic Heart's booth #3313. Please join me if you can Friday Oct 12th from 1-2 pm for my signing.

This Fall, Hasbro's MY LITTLE PONY Project returns to New York as part a global celebration of MY LITTLE PONY: Friendship Is Magic. Following the success of MY LITTLE PONY Project in Los Angeles, this charitable art exhibition will feature brand-new one of a kind 18” inch pony figures by renowned international artists and pop-culture icons. A portion of shop proceeds will benefit Give Kids the World Village.
This special event takes place at the MY LITTLE PONY Pop-up Shop hosted by EVENTI and New York Art Department, and designed by C2WORLDWIDE, featuring exclusive pony items from Mighty Fine Clothing, Enter Play Trading Cards, Soho Fashion Hair Styling, Onch Movement Jewelry, Fab Bags, Basic Fun keychains, Universal Designs leather jackets, demos from Gameloft and more. New York Comic Con 2012 Oct 11-14th
New York Comic Con is around the corner. I will be signing at My Plastic Heart #3313 Friday 10/12 1-2 P.M and Art Whino's booth next weekend. I will also be live painting from Fri-Sun at Art Whino's booth #3203. There's so much going on in one weekend and it's sure to be an amazing time. The following image is going to be a exclusive print release at Art Whino's booth. The original painting will be there too. The character is a tribute to Hatsune Miku who is Japans first Vocaloid. A singing synthesizer application with a female persona who performs live on stage as a digital hologram and is considered a pop idol in Japan.

The Japanese American National Museum presents Giant Robot Biennale 3, its third show in conjunction with Eric Nakamura, owner of Asian American pop culture juggernaut Giant Robot. The expansive show features a gallery of eight emerging artists along with a customized vinyl figure collection.
Using Uglydoll creator David Horvath figures, Nakamura curated Project Remix, a custom vinyl show with over 80 artists from seven countries—including the rare combination of both established customizers and fine artists. Special additions to the exhibition include an original piece from Japanese painter Masakatsu Sashie as well as arcade machines runningJeni Yang and Beau Blyth’s new indie video game, Catburger.

Memories Are Made of This, Munky King's final art exhibition curated by Super Cooper inspired by childhood memories.
Here's some info about my contribution. When my brother and I were kids we used to collect dandelions and flick the flowers off their steams at each other. We would sing the song "mama had a baby and her head popped off".
